As I write this, it is currently eleven in the morning and I have just woken up. Why? Because I was up all night watching Candidly Nicole.
Why up until yesterday I have never heard of this wonder on my screen, I will never know.
The premise is pretty simple, it is, in my opinion, a parody of a classic catty reality show featuring the -who knew- hilarious Nicole Richie.
In the VH1 show, Nicole calls chickens sluts, online dates for her friend, gets drunk while chaperoning her little sister's party, visits a gay farm, fakes eye problems, and drives over a cardboard cutout of her famous father. All without showing her husband or children on screen, and that is something I can respect. The show also features many tongue-in-cheek jokes about her partying past and how she is not a "desperate club rat" anymore.
There are only three episodes out as of now, but you can catch new ones Thursdays at 10 on VH1. You can also catch up online here!
