Gold Mine

I picked up some of the most beautiful gold nail polish yesterday at Wally World (That's what I call WalMart, I). It stunned me, how pretty the color was. So obviously, I bought it.
The polish is called Bold Gold from the Color Show Metallics collection by Maybelline.

I put this polish on when I got home and I haven't been able to stop staring at my hands since.
I love the Color Show collection, I already have a few polishes from it. The consistency was a little streaky and it needed three coats until I was satisfied, but I am in love with this color.
My nails still look a tad streaky but I have deep ridges in my nails, unfortunately.
Wierdly enough they only show up when I polish them, they look as smooth as a baby's bottom when they're bare.

I can't wait to do some fun designs with this polish, like stripes or a metallic cheetah print!
I have a feeling this polish will be in my collection for a long time to come.

  2. 5 am and I'm reading this. That Color is so pretty. I did get a sneak peak at a nail with designs on it. Now that you have to add to this. How is the price compared to other metallics?.
    Love ya,

  3. OMG! I love this color! I've been searching for a gold color for some time now that actually looked like gold. Thanks for the post. Another concern of mine other then the color is does it chip? I hate when I paint my nails, and less than 24 hours later I look down at my nails and half the polish is already off.
