Affordable and Adorable: Firmoo Eyewear

When Firmoo first contacted me about reviewing their online glasses shop, I immediately said yes! If you're like me and hate contacts, you understand the extreme importance of a cute pair of glasses. Sometimes you even want a pair to match every outfit, but at a couple hundred dollars a pop for designer frames at a glasses store, that thought seems unrealistic. That is where Firmoo comes in! Firmoo is an online retailer of affordable glasses and sunglasses that are actually extremely cute! They also have new styles added daily, so there are a lot of options! Plus, read until the end to get a wonderful offer from Firmoo!
Was this the easiest process of obtaining glasses that I've ever experienced? Absolutely. All I had to do was take my prescription from my last eye doctors appointment, which was about two months ago, and enter the numbers from it into their system after I picked out the frames I wanted. I have always been confused when looking at my prescription, (like really who can understand that gibberish?) but Firmoo's site made it so easy to order. I was a little worried that I may have messed something up and the glasses would come with an improper prescription thanks to my lack of optometry knowledge, but my worries were for naught, they came out perfectly. Now these Firmoos rival my expensive pair of designer glasses.
Not only are they affordable and adorable, but they are also very well made. Any less expensive pair I've worn in my over ten years of being a glasses wearer have always felt flimsy and broken in about a year. While I've only had this pair for a few weeks, I can already tell they are going to last a while. The glasses shipped fast and came with a cute case, a soft pouch, a nice cleansing cloth, and a glasses screwdriver keychain, which is definitely a great tool to me.I think Firmoo is a great company with very nice products, and I definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the market for new glasses, or even just want to try a pair for a new look! Now for the exciting part, new customers of Firmoo can get 15% off their first order sitewide! Click here to check out the coupon!Firmoo sent me a pair of their glasses free for review purposes. Kissing Summer Goodbye: 8 Fall Lip Colors to Fall in Love With

As much as it pains me to admit it, summer is slowly but surly leaving a little more each day. Though the up sides far outweigh the negatives for me. Swapping out our sundresses for yummy leather jackets and over-the-knee boots, thick cardigans covering once bare shoulders, and of course, darkening up your makeup.

Here are eight beautiful dark lipsticks that will surly make your autumn transition easier.

Have a wonderful day!

Mini Sephora Haul!

I recently placed an order with Sephora a couple of weeks ago to restock on some old favorites and try out some new goodies!
Stella McCartney Stella Perfume - Stella has been my favorite scent for almost four years now. My mom encouraged me to try it out and bought me my first roller bottle of it while shopping through McCartney's Soho store. It's been my 'signature' scent ever since, I've rarely strayed from it. Since the last bottle that my mom bought me nearly two years ago has since run out, I needed to restock.

BeautyBlender The Original BeautyBlender - Up until now I've only used knock off beauty blenders, not really seeing the point to spend $20 on a sponge. But I broke down and ordered the original, and I am so glad I did. The difference between this blender and a $6 one from another store is astounding.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer - Oh boy, this stuff. This concealer is fantastic. This was my first time trying it, and I'm so glad I did. It's stands up to it's name, being extremely creamy, which is great for me since most concealers I use dry out my under eyes.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - I originally placed this order to stock up on on my Stella and to repurchase this old favorite of mine from high school. It's been a while since I've used this and they've changed the packaging since I've last used it, but it is still a fantastic foundation. It's creamy and opaque enough to cover up any redness, but still thin enough to feel lightweight on your skin. Plus, applying this with the beauty blender makes my skin look better than it ever has before.

And of course, since I placed this order online, I got my wonderful free samples. Always a plus. Thanks Sephora.

Things I'm Loving Lately: Playing House

Things I'm Loving Lately Playing House USA Network

Sometimes, I like to go to the section on iTunes where they feature free television episodes. More times than not, they're pilots. Last spring, I was hopping around this section when I found the pilot for Playing House, a comedy on USA Network. Now, I can't remember my exact feelings about the show at the time, but they must have been good since I've been continuing to watch the show since.

Things I'm Loving Lately Playing House USA Network

What is it about, then? Well, take two funny ladies as lifelong BFFs, mix in one cheating ex-husband, one baby, one high school sweetheart relationship gone sour, and you have Playing House! Feel free to add 'sensitive doula brother' and 'hoarder with brittle bones' to taste.

Playing House stars real-life best friends Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair as Maggie and Emma. When they catch Maggie's husband cheating on her, she kicks him out and Emma moves in to help Maggie raise her baby! Friendship goals, amiright?

Things I'm Loving Lately Playing House USA Network

There are a few words I would use to describe this show; Hilarious, empowering, charming, lively, adventurous, and magical. It dares to take risks without coming off crude, it features women not only in positions of power, but also as mothers and friends. It takes the classic 'small town sitcom' and turns it on it's head.

Cath the first season of Playing House on iTunes, and watch new episodes on USA Network, Tuesdays at 10!
